The game is good

The gameplay to dialogue ratio is like 20% gameplay to 80% dialogue that imo isn’t too good. The gameplay tries to do a lot but it doesn’t do any of it good as the gameplay feels bad. Overall the game is just really mid

The base game story may be trash, but the gameplay is the best in the series. There is so much content in this game that even 48 hours in i just made it to level cap and havent even beaten the first dlc yet. The game is very fun though i woulda loved to see at least 1 dlc vault hunter as the purple trees on some characters kinda suck.

Amazing game it is truely a game

Played 2 Matches and had trouble finding enemies, and when i did they were shooting me from behind or clustered in a group of 10+. People are praising the voip interactions, but in the 2 games i played barely anyone spoke.

I want to like this game, but man is it hard. I made it to the second Act then took a break and just cannot get back into it. The gameplay and combat is great, but man the Tutorial segment and early fort joy(first act out of tutorial) is just super boring. It does pick up after the first 2-3 hours though, and that is where it hooks you as the game does get more interesting and fun. Idk if the game will keep me hooked, but if this is your first time playing the game then you should enjoy it from the get go as DOS2 is a good game.

At its core rust is a super fun game and there is a lot that can be done in the game.
I love that there are npc outposts you can explore to get loot, and the survival elements and building systems are super good too.

What isnt good about rust in my opinion would be the raiding and gunplay. It doesnt matter what kind of base you have or the defenses you make you have a 90% chance to get raided while you are offline. You may say to yourself well i may have gotten unlucky, but nope in my 72 hours of playing i have only kept a base more than a day once, and every other time i got offline raided. Its just not fun as a solo or a duo to play building simulator for 6-7 hours and get a base down only to get raided the second you go offline, but that's what rust is offline raid sim. If you dont have a group you just cant play unless you are absolutely cracked at the game. The gunplay also kinda sucks because every single gun but the tommy has insane recoil, so if you do find an ak or any other gun good luck hitting anyone with it.

overall i would not recommend rust to people who play solo or duo unless you are a god at fps games cause ♥♥♥♥ is legit building/farming simulator just to get offlined when you finally get ready to do any damned thing.
