The game ends when it starts to get good. covers about 100 years at the start of the industrial revolution. There is no real "grow your empire" here as ,if you want to start as someone who is a lower ranked nation and grow, it's not really a thing due to time constraints. Just as things seemed to kick off the game kinda just... ends. The way time progresses is also much too slow ... I would compare the way time moves to a game like stellaris, but lacks a lot of depth even with purchased DLC's. Kinda wish i saved my money.

Backed the game on kickstarter as soon as it appeared. Patapon Reborn with a twist. It's still pretty early to be called amazing, has lots of polish to work on for online play and additional mechanics from the road map; however, this game scratches the rhythm fever after years of waiting so it's nice.

works really well for me, having lots of fun. My PC runs a 4070 Super, and an i7-9700k. No real big issues. runs around 60-90FG (Frame Generation) with all settings on high aside from volumetric clouds. Those settings are both on medium. I get some stuttering but nothing game breaking. I don't know what performance issues other people have, but they posted all the minimum/recommended specs, so i wouldnt try to play it unless youre somewhere on the board/ in between. Which means you need a halfway decent PC to run this game . If you meet PC specs, this game has for sure been a blast so far.

Man this game is great. Just started act II . Things really start to heat up! -- buy this game if you like mysteries, souls like combat, and a good jab of in your face graphics :D. A lot of old fashioned RPG nostalgia mixed in here as well.

I'm not sure where the pay to win comes in. If it starts hittin hard i will update my review, but my initial exploration into The First Descendant has been rather enjoyable looter shooter and i have not felt like it has been a P2W curve yet... though things are really early. Since i was enjoying the game i went ahead and bought the battle pass for 10$ -- it does not seem to have given me any significant advantage or weaponry yet :p, see some materials and emotes coming up i suppose? lol Anyway i will update my review if things change, it has been nice other than some graphical issues and startup problems i had to work around.
