The remake is ok, I personally don't like any of the English VA choices. Not that they're bad VAs but they just don't fit in to how RE4 is.

Gameplay is the strongest part of this game, its fun to shoot and attack ganados in this game. I like the addition of parrying, its a nice skill mechanic.

The story is the same as the original for the most part but isn't really as 'campy', its more serious in a negative way. Mods have kept up with all my enjoyment thus far after the first playthrough.


Though I hate how separate ways is now a paid DLC with this game released at 60$ without mercenaries and separate ways. I don't really see the value in everything being $70. If everything was 60$, I wouldn't have much of an issue but the extra 10 really don't add up. Pick up this game on sale for the best value but OG is still just a more enjoyable game. And yes without some of the questionable quotes in the game in regards to ashley and such, it'd still be more enjoyable. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This game generally surprised me, as someone who grew up watching ghost adventures because their family liked that sort of stuff. This game takes all those shows and kicks their asses, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is this a fun game. I started in VR and switched to desktop mode for a little bit till I get a new pair of glasses but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is VR scary, like desktop is still scary but VR is a whole other level. Clearly shows that the dev wanted to make a great VR experience with a solid desktop version which is perfectly fine. Despite the almost lack of content there is right now its still fun, especially on professional, though sometimes it can be annoying where a demon is being really shy and a shade is really aggressive. Though asylum objectively sucks, I hope when large maps are added in the future there's a reason for a difficulty of larger maps rather than the amount of rooms, like maybe harder to get to certain places or you have to look for more keys to open the rest of the building up. Can't wait to see more content released, and hopefully another dev or two as well.

Game is fun, and especially better with friends. You can unlock all cosmetics very quickly through playing the game. One big thing not a fan of is the cross bows, they're stronger than basically every firearm and needs some rework. Good rework could either give them a longer time before making an accurate shot and or have a longer delay between shots. Posion crossbow is a crutch for traitors and its idiotic.

This game can be fun but there's too many broken and unfun parts to it. Mr.X is broken as ♥♥♥♥, he tanks so much damage lasts a bit, can insta down people, easily take down your whole group without any form of thought. When the mastermind is controlling the speed zombie, unless you got a shotgun and or a magnum 1v1s are basically infavor of the mastermind. Also the mastermind can easily just spam stuff which takes a lot of skill out of playing it. With balancing with the mastermind this could be a lot more enjoyable and fair. But as of now its really dumb how OP being mastermind is.

There's like to two good scenes or whatever, wish I could have more interesting conversations that I just didn't press the escape key. Also would be nice just to able to say no and exit the bunny girl scene.

Pretty ok story, wish they'll make a second one, but doubt they'll ever make a second one

I haven't really played a lot of the re games but, this game is a great way to start of 2019. This game is amazing, though I suck at ammo conservation, and not trying to kill every thing that walks, I still managed to have a blast with this game. Though I had moments that weren't that enjoyable it was only due to my lacking of what to do

Though I wished this was a remastered of the series its nice to have them all avaliable on pc without the need of an emulator and such,

This is without a doubt my favorite one from the Sakura collection. Love the characters, loved routes. Only wished there were more routes for like just two of them, not just all three or one of them.

I'd say worth a whole year of wait for it. If you want your parents to disown you even move, then buy this visual novel!
