Gas lighting people by saying that we always intended to have PSN account linkages is unacceptable. I dont own a Playstation, never have, never will. Why would i want to have a PSN account? i dont. it was optional. and i refuse to choose that option. Based on my requirement not to have my data controlled by a 3rd party that has had more data breaches than swiss cheese has holes in unacceptable. There is no garuntee of the safety of my Data. I don't want my data with a company i have no affiliation with. And to block my access unless i sign a 3rd parties agreement and create an unrequired account for services i will never purchase or consume, and be flooded with marketing material, and have my data at risk of yet another breach seems like you are forcing people to be participant in a potential GDPR breach... pretty sure thats illegal.

Early Access Review
This game was good.... 2 or 3 pathces ago. Since then the maps have shrunk, the game play has become weird, with the spacemarines seemingly broken...other races seem able to get single kills in melee, yet spacemarines takes 4 or 5 swings. the death animations are broken, the clipping and shooting through objects issue is back enforce, Elday are raher OP in general, and the CSM have that ridiculously OP plage ability that destroys enemies when exposed for mere moments and it follows into cover, round corners... its almost impossible to shake and kills so fast. Orks are about balanced at the moment. CSM Sorcerers are way to OP, and Eldar are just plain OP all over. There will be undoubtedly a wave of Nerf Hammers and Buff wands going around but at the moment....aslong as you just want hack and slash and shootem dem dakka's... play along.

This is a fun shooter game but it does have its draw backs.
In the course of several years.... note years here... there have only been a few additional maps and existing map tweaks. They are pretty dont get me wrong, but variety would be nice.
The Clan faction wars thing is....not quite right. It feels very sterile and formulated and somehow the pre-made groups who initiate a faction war always tend to be defenders... and somehow have the advantage. It just doesnt have that Mechwarrior 3 Planet capture feel.
The Mechs themselves are pretty good. The drive to stick to the original designs is there... even if it is subdued by balancing issues and legal issues with licence holders etc.... however the one thing that tends to irk me somewhat is this Pay to Own sytem. ure you can eventually rack up c-bills to own 1 variant of a mech... or you can fork out an horrific amount of real world cash for a mech package.....like every other damn week. Mechs are dribbled out in a fashion that just keeps it fresh, but at a pricing structure thats not so much DLC, but charged as if it was a brand new game.....5.99 or even 9.99 for a mech package would be ok... but 49.99 is just silly. its almost RSI StarCitizen money. And thats why i dont recommend this game....

The developers would rather churn out... on a regular basis mind you.....expensive DLC's, really expensive DLC's...than new maps, game play and correctly balanced and effective faction play. And remember... initial founders of this game (basically kickstarter backers) were promised faction and clan wars over 5 years ago....This is not a new game... its new to steam and thats about it.
