This isn't a game. There are literally only two choices that matter, and that is the one at the very end. If you didn't choose to save Arcadia Bay over Chloe then you are genuinely a psychopath and need mental help. It is bizarre that the game even presented us with the choice at the end, as there is no logical reason to choose anything other than the aforementioned option.

The characters suck. Chloe is a bratty ♥♥♥♥ and Max is an entitled prick.
The very first thing Chloe suggests Max does with her power is to use it to rape. That pretty much sums up Chloe.
Max has a boytoy that she strings along the entire game, only using him for favors. That also pretty much sums up Max.
The only good character in the game is Chloe's stepdad. He spends his days actively fighting to protect the students at his school where he runs security, only to be stopped at every step of the way by his ungrateful stepdaughter. Cameras in a school and house aren't weird, get over it.

Max's powers are insufferably inconsistent. One moment you are going from a free range section with literally unlimited uses of the power, only to go to a cut-scene where it fails just at the inopportune moment. RIP Kate Her powers also literally allow her to teleport. It is used one time to solve a puzzle while trying to break into a door, and never mentioned again in any serious way. NPC's don't react when you teleport in front of them, it's not helpful in cut-scenes, and not used to prove the power to Chloe. (Instead there is a frustrating word game)

I do not understand why this game is so critically acclaimed. The story has more holes than swiss cheese and the characters actively work to make me despise them. Play it if you want to waste 20 hours of your time on something of no consequence.
