meh just another idler, NGU idle has whatever this game has and a lot more and smoother progression

unfinished:
no VC, crashing issues, framerate spikes, middling content volume

Not a real soulslike:
Its basically a forced speedrun experience, which is a big part of the souls fanbase, but not for every souls fan.

A confused genre:
the game itself doesnt really know what it wants to be, the map is filled with small lootables, roofs to climb, cave branches to explore, but really it just incentivizes you to run after whatever markers on your map. It pretends to be a roguelike, but godruns dont feel like godruns and bad runs cant be restarted in a convenient manner. Its a multiplayer coop, but the only practical device for communication is a map pin. It has RPG mechanics, but the progression system between runs is incredibly underwhelming and customization options (both gameplay and cosmetic) is basically non-existent.


If theres any one thing you like about this game, there is for certain a game/mod/dlc that does that thing better and for a cheaper price. The value from this game is a $20 DLC, yet Ive seen games add similar types of gamemodes as free update before.

For a 3rd person shooter this game has horrible camera controls. A minimum should be to zoom out and/or move camera right left up down. Modding sites also takes down FOV mods because "they give unfair advantage in multiplayer settings". Untill then cant give a positiv review personally, camera controls are just that important to me in a 3rd person game.

edit: unfinished game needs polish, good potential though. Will play it again in a year possibly update review. Campaign is unfixable though, just sadly kinda boring not enough variation.

Peak

Too many bugs, in more ways than one. Gets updates regularly, but half of them borderline break the game and/or make it more unstable.

Oh yeah and unless they fix the anticheat I cant really recommend people to install malware on their PC.

Sony backtracked on the PSN thing, but previous issues still stand.

Edit: dev keeps indirectly insisting this game is a milsim, so I will judge it as such: This game lacks most of the major cornerstones that define and are necessary for milsim games, so cant for any reason recommend it for milsim gameplay.
