For casual play this is amazing but if you wanna 100% get ready for an awful time waster trying to unlock all 32 cars with the terribly balanced economy

Short answer this is not it, easily the 2nd worst dlc in destiny 2 history. Story, cinematics and voice acting are on par with the greats (Witch Queen and The Final Shape), however the gameplay is not it. The main gimmick is uninspired, turning you into an orb to play through what feels like a ps2 era side character section of the game to shock control panels to open doors (you will be doing this a lot get used to it). The new call feature gives you a holographic display of the person you're "talking" to however it forces you out of combat and slows your character to a crawl. You have the ability to make calls a transmission but you should just give the option to hold to make it a transmission from the start. Legendary mode feels like a joke, the new planet free roam causes more deaths than the no respawn zones which completely takes away all tension. New portal system would be nice if it wasn't forced upon you. Side quest dialogue doesn't help give you any clue as to what you need to search for. Lastly leaves the price tag its $10 cheaper than the final shape but its also $20 more expensive than D1 Dark Below, D1 House of Wolves, D2 Curse of Osiris, D2 Warmind which are similarly sized "mini" dlcs meant to pad time until the next big release. In all honestly after the "Light vs. Dark" saga ended support for D2 should have went to making a Destiny 3

Pros
+voice acting
+story
+sandbox changes

Cons
-gameplay mechanics (matterspark, fallen portal gun)
-new call system
-dialogue that goes no where
-repetitive and exhausted locations/designs
-bugs, bugs, bugs, bugs and more bugs
-new portals system
-$40 usd

Early Access Review
I would love if game development resumed on Heartbound instead of the "side project" known as Block Game. 10 years with little progress to show for it is unacceptable see you in 2030 when the game might be finished just go play & support Undertale and Deltarune

No just no. There is no reason you should play this over the borderlands 2 version. Its pretty much a nasty cash grab. But if you're an achievement hunter like I then be warned it will be free later.

game is absolutely cooked. go play warframe instead its entirely f2p and has a steady stream of content to play that doesn't constantly get removed each dlc. with the current layoffs at bungie its best to steer clear until we know for sure how this game's content will be affected.

tldr: don't buy it or any of its future dlcs not worth investing in rn

This game still feels and plays like the modern game. Only downside is that the games multiplayer is relatively dead and requires people form a party to find a race.
