I can definitly recommend this game if, from watching the trailer, you at all feel like this might be your thing.
Is it early acces and needs some balancing?
Yes.
Does that make the game any less good?
It does not.

There is a fair amount of grinding, but the overall gameplay is pretty satisfying, so if you dont mind farming for materials and a few birth pangs from a game with alot of potential, no need to hesitate on getting it.

the world is beautiful and the aesthetic is very pleasing to the eye. I have both streamed this and watch others who did and all concur that it looks absolutely gorgeous.
Also, the soundtrack is one you cant help humming along to.

There also seem to be alot of content in the works as there are several areas that are currently closed off and npc's without quests or tasks connected to them. This bodes well for future updates to keep you coming back for more.

Note: i currently have 27 hours in this game and Im not even done yet with all there is to do. On top of that i also played the demo for just over 6 hours and i can confirm that the dev team is working hard to solve any major issues as many of the bugs i noted in the demo were already adressed and fixed by the time of release a month later.

The dev team have a very active discord and pay close attention to any issues or bugs reported there. Besides the devs being able to come up with on the spot workarounds its definitly worth getting on there if you have questions or concerns with the game, because again, it IS early access.

all in all, i would rate this game a solid 8.5/10 in its current form, and am looking forward to future updates with bug fixes and content expansions.

im 38 hours in, completed about 50% of the content and im still loving it.
bit sad there's no quidditch but the overall experience has been great.

its Vikingcraft and i love it.
probably some of the best rpg and open world mechanics i'v seen.
