Solid FPS which enables that gremlin part of the brain that enjoys fighting dirty. Gimmicks and cheap tricks are the name of the game. Grenade spam, destroy entire playing fields, booby trap spawn points, camp from obscure angles, anything goes. Stop leaving Powershift lobbies lol I'm having fun

Fun but half the players you run into are blatantly esp/aimbotting. I clap them regardless. Will review again after level 500 grind.

I was told to play this and that "it recieved spam bad reviews and was actually really good", but let me tell ya:
it's a blatant ripoff of elements and UI from pubg and Modern Warfare, runs terribly and crashed 3 times in a dozen games either disconnecting or just killing the player, was only able to queue for the BR mode bc noone plays the other mode, camera is terrible and stutters in vehicles, in the BR there's no motivation to PVP bc the goal is to mine stuff and extract by chopper and the people you do run into prone behind cover using 3rd person to peek you, vehicles handle worse than early pubg vehicles, you take fall damage from walking down a slight incline, hit boxes are inaccurate yet weapons are hit scan, optics and attachments never spawn, snipers don't kill with a headshot to any of the levels of helmet so there's no point in getting better gear, the gas zones stack damage when overlapping and never stop expanding so if you cannot outheal it or outrun it you have to call in a vehicle which takes away from your 100k goal of resources, and within the first 10 minutes of every game someone always gets to the 100k goal and extracts anyway so you have to push that instead of doing the objective. Most gameplay elements are poorly implemented and the sound design is both incredibly loud and dogass, the gameplay loop is terribly designed and unfun, and overall the game runs terribly on a 4k$ computer designed to render mf GOD. Do not waste your time. Much love gamers xoxo

BEFORE YOU BUY, if you don't have an RTX capable card, maybe wait for more optimization or until you can upgrade. Using the DLSS AI fixes pretty much everything and makes it look beautiful. Didn't have a single crash until I tried to record it with SLOBS.

I absolutely loved this game.

In typical CD Project Red fashion, this game is incredibly written and I can't wait to see where the studio goes next.
In fact I loved the game enough that I made an all encompassing funny video essay about it as our Christmas Special.

The overall experience is crafted by the dialogue and changes how characters interact with you, as well as eachother. Too much to say and I already said it all in the video, so that's all from me.

Pros: Visually pleasing, not too linear but linear enough that you're not lost constantly, massive world to explore, plenty to do and a lot to unlock. You can play the entire game like you're supposed to, or rampage around using thermals and only landmines/throwing knives whilst ♥♥♥♥♥ out on adrenaline, which I highly suggest.

Cons: Secondary weapons (aka assault rifles/a shotgun) can't be suppressed which I thought was stupid. Also, being on the ground is required to fire sniper rifles so yeeting yourself off a building for a dope noscope montage isn't happening.

Overall, not bad but could use more cowbell. And adding coop would be litty. And also bees.

As a work in progress, it obviously has a few issues, like terrain launching you to space for no reason and robots being immortal, but one opinion I've always had has been that this game is pretty. I mean, LOOK AT THAT ♥♥♥♥.
