I need to make a 2000 word essay to review this game, but I lack the imagination to rate it as greatly as it deserves.

Despite tons of bugs, it is excusable for the god tier content this game provided. THIS is a true definition of an RPG. Choices matter. They have consequences. You can literally have your playthru over by saying a bad dialouge to Vlaakith lol

Good mechanics, good gameplay.

bad rougelite. not enough variety, no replay-ability. the last stages are basically same as before, except harder. LITERALLY NO NEW CONTENT ADDED. its so bad.

so there is a gundman sniper with jump pad.
he lacks mobility, so this is a good part of his kit.

BUT you cant stay on top of walls or any cover for high ground. and the jump height is piss.

and this lacks so much content.

ALSO, if barbatos stuns you, youre just dead lmao

The most diverse and most content rich RPG from software has ever produced. You can create a character and spend hours on it with such diverse weapons, skills and spells.

From software never FAILS to deliver. With Elden Ring being their first open world title, I expected that it wouldn't live up to the hype, but it came through, exceeding people's expectancy.

+As I said at the top, the diversity in which you can tackle the enemies and the world in this game are countless and very different from one another.
You can be a knight with a sword in your main-hand and a shield in your off-hand who is a balance between offence and defence.
You can be an archer who takes advantage of distance and strike enemies afar.
You can become a mage, who is capable of casting offensive sorcery both in melee and range.
Or a cleric who casts incantations which can support yourself and your allies with buffs and heals, but also cast offensive holy/lightning to damage foes in an area.
You can be a swordsman wielding a hunk of iron, going full offense with huge damage each swing.
Or a dexterous fighter with thrusting swords, curved swords who can attack without end.
AND you can combine those ideas and be a jack of all trades if you'd like.

This could be really easy or hard, depends on how you take it. You can summon other people/spirits in the game for help, or you can be a lone-wolf who conquers the lands between.

Or use imbalanced builds like BLEED arcane to destroy most of the bosses in a few seconds.

- There were game breaking bugs during the early patches, but now its fixed.

I havent heard of any after patch 1.04 other than bosses getting insta killed during phase 2.

+ But I have a lot of faith in the devs, as they listen to the community keenly and fixes/(balances?) things for fair, immersive gameplay.
