Awesome gambling addiction simulator

Good story, well written, playing this blind is the best way to experience it. Very good for anyone at on sale, should be a horror fan if you want to pick this up at full price.

This game taught me how to lead men in Vietnam, I have successfully employed those same skills and garnered multiple awards at work and have been rewarded with several promotions.

I have never seen combat...

Shotgunned a zombie at point blank range and he still lunged at me with no head on his shoulders, this happened 3 times at least.

The melee combat in this game is also awful, sluggish and unsatisfying it feels more like luck when you score a hit than skill.

Very disappointing coming from the team that made Chivalry. I was so very hopeful this game would be good, especially being a fan of the original NMRiH. Hopeful this dev team can turn this around, they clearly just wanted to hit the October release window because this was not ready...

$8 for two new campaign missions, 2 new weapons, and a slew of new HVTs so you have a reason to go back through some of the original content as well. Priced fairly and of high quality, I think one of the missions was pretty average as far as base game goes but the other is within the Top 3 across the whole game. Some of the music included also goes into the upper echelon for content we've received from this game as well.

The new weapons are fun, the Sword makes you feel like you're playing Metal Gear Rising, and the revolver is a welcome addition even if the total ammo you're allowed for it should be more. I'm always looking for more Trepang2, and this came at a good price to give me a good excuse to play some more. Very highly recommended.

The first and last rooms of this game are the only ones which feel even the slightest bit compelling. Clearly this is a backrooms and SCP inspired game, but when there are other games which do this concept better I find it hard to recommend.

The procedural generation is certainly interesting, but most generations of the levels are lacking in making the game fun to play. I understand that the backrooms concept is meant to be confusing with many dead-ends in a maze like structure which is what I would expect but the overall level design just feels bland and uninteresting. I think this game would benefit from more hand crafted levels or sections as there are some interesting ideas on display from the dev team.

Lastly, I would say this when it comes to the game and its "inspirations". If you're going to do an idea that other games/media have done before, I strongly suggest you do something to make "your" version interesting and different. Otherwise, you feel like a mish-mash amalgamation of what's popular on forums and internet boards because that's what it feels like right now.

From the intro, having no idea what this game was about, I really thought I was going to get a religious inspired interpretation of the backrooms genre that would have felt compelling and interesting to explore. Instead, all I got were a bunch of re-hashed creepypastas.

I hope they have Counter-Strike in Heaven because I love this game.
