What a game — an incredible improvement over the first one, yet in that characteristic Ubisoft style from the 2000–2010 era, they delivered a totally different experience, very hard to play, but one that gives you a real sense of accomplishment once you finish it.

I hated a few gameplay mechanics, like the respawning enemy hordes in every area just a few seconds after I cleared it — that was the thing that bothered me the most.

I loved the live-map experience, and the fact that weapons degraded forced me to go get new ones for every mission, which I actually appreciated.
The story is fine, and it’s brilliant that the protagonist from the first game becomes the antagonist in the second one.
Africa is exceptionally beautiful in Far Cry 2.
I gladly recommend this game if you want something challenging and different.

As a first western‑themed game, I can say it delivered really well. It feels like a GTA 4.5, so the movement is very smooth. There are some downsides, such as having nothing to do with the money you earn, the side missions feeling forced, but the main story is very good and the ending is very dramatic. I recommend this game only if it’s on sale.

A captivating game. If you’re a fan of story‑driven games, then I recommend it. It has unique gameplay elements that I haven’t encountered in other games of this kind.

I tried this game twice, and the third time I actually enjoyed it. It’s a weekend-type game that can make you forget your problems. A very light horror game with a pleasant world, easy-to-understand gameplay, good graphics, and a constant feeling of being watched. I warmly recommend this game.

I played this game only because it was a remaster, even though I knew I would be fooled by it. Ironically, the game manages to have weaker graphics and more visual bugs than the classic version. There are unresolved bugs still present, along with new ones added. The game is decent, but not really good. The DLC I hadn’t played before, and it’s actually worth playing. For this price you also get AC Liberation, which is a weak game—I knew that from the start—but at least it was free.

My God, how good this game is, it’s truly an experience. At first the game seems very hard, but the more you progress, the more satisfying it becomes. The story is great, I also recommend the DLC for completing the storyline. The parkour is really fun, and after you get that grappling hook it becomes even more satisfying.

A game with a good story that keeps you captivated. The biggest issue with this game is the controls. The graphics are okay, although it's clear it's a game from the 2010s — that didn't bother me personally. The quick time events can be annoying in some places if you're playing with mouse and keyboard. I recommend using a gamepad.

I don't know why everyone praises this game—the story is really mid, the grind is extremely repetitive and boring. Not to mention those three cars that randomly show up in front of you and try to destroy you. The gameplay is okay—you blow up everything in sight—but that's about it. The car upgrade mechanics are satisfying, but I never felt like I was driving a monster on wheels. The races are also very boring. Overall, it's a mid-tier game from 2015, and I have no idea why it's getting so much attention nowadays.

An old, tough game—not too long, but when you finish it, it gives you a sense of satisfaction. I played it on the easiest difficulty, and I'm glad I completed it that way.
