Fantastic game. Tight controls. Many characters to unlock as you play. If you are a beat em' up fan then you would be doing yourself a disservice not playing this game. Rarely does a game feel like it was made with pure love of the genre. survival modes, boss rush modes, arcade and story modes, co-op with friends. Any one of these are enough reasons to play.

lets hope we see more games with this kind of care and attention. Devs did a great job.

Takes the core components of a great rogue like/lite game and boils them down to their simplest form to create an addictive gameplay loop that you just can't put down. An absolute gem of a game, especially for the price. If you are a fan of the genre i could not recommend this game more.

game had potential. been supporting development for a long time. it is with a heavy heart i say good bye to this game. the wales won the vote and game dev turned it into a cash grab. i wont grab a picket sign, but i will not be an advocate for this game any more.

ever had a girlfriend that you dated, and you were so great at boosting their self esteem they felt comfortable leaving you for somebody else? well that is what ylands just did to me. and i am sad now.

official launch of the game came with game breaking bugs. i lost everyting. all bookmarks and teleport locations, all quest progress gone, which prevents me from progressing any further. NPCs that were unlocked dissapeared. that right there stoped me from being able to progress. every person connected to their server was wiped as well. 6 of the 8 staffs and wands quit working as well. about 60 hrs of gameplay were lost, and thats just counting me. Others on my server lost everyting as well. have not been hit this hard with a bugs since the hard disk wipe with myth II back in the 90's.

Brilliant! Funny, moving, and beautiful. this is the reason i play games. double fine crafted a beautiful piece of art, full of fantastic voice acting, and supurbly crafted story. the realization i had at the end of this game blew my mind. cant wait for the second half

this IS one of those must play games.
