Heh, I hosted the game jam that this was originally made for... the developer is an absolute legend. The initial concept was fantastic and incredibly fun on its own, but they went out of their way to expand it with so many cool additional features (most notably custom levels) to make it just so replayable. I have no words, one of the best zachlikes of all time.

Amazing sound design. Just incredible.

The kind of music that's incredibly easy to not notice... But still very well made from a sound design point of view, as well as the way it carries its leitmotifs.

But most of all, the bittersweet nostalgia...

Great soundtrack, but terrible execution.
Tracks are reordered seemingly randomly, have very confusing names sometimes, not slowed down like in game (they sound SO MUCH better slowed down), and don't even include absolute bangers like the Chapter 0 and 1 musics.

VA-11 HALL-A, but with much more engaging gameplay, slightly awkward dialogue, not-very-subtle innuendo, and a surprisingly fresh story all things considered. Good for pretending to be intimate with women.

More "action platformer" and less "meta desktop adventure" than I'd like, but hey there's a waifu so who cares.

HOLY MOLY... this is a work of art. It doesn't seem to make much sense from a game design standpoint... but it's such a clever way of telling a unique story. It's fun, addicting, scary, difficult, and unpredictable, and just really well made.

Quite well made, although the writing and voice acting are beyond atrocious.

Very well done, finally a "1st person horror exploration" game (like Bendy, Security Breach etc) that actually clicks and is fun. Just below the "Jaw-dropping" tier that DDLC occupies.

Endlessly creative. It just keeps on giving.
