Well after hearing people going on ad infinitum about how great this game is I decided to give it a try.
Pros:
The music and visuals are phenomenal
Good voice acting
Writing was somewhat decent

Cons:
Story was entirely predictable and falls apart after act 2 with a hamfisted ending.
Combat starts with enjoyable mechanics and completely devolves into dork souls parryslop. If you want to 100% this, get used to the idea of dying to a boss that will one shot you until you can perfect parry every single attack or overleveling your characters to the point where you can one shot everything.

96 hours for a full clear, the actual game itself is maybe 35 hours long.

I'd give it a 6 or 7/10. I think most people have become so used to absolutely mediocre games that when something slightly decent comes along they think it's the second coming.

If you're down with parrying being your way of life and want to burn a couple hours I'd say wait for a sale and pick it up.
