If I could only ever play one video game, this would be it.

I have played Borderlands 2 for more than 100 hours. Me and my friends all LOVED it.

I was so hyped when Pre Sequel came out, that I actually considered pre-ordering it and blindly bought the Season Pass right away.

The gameplay is GREAT. After playing a few hours of Pre-Sequel, you will really miss the zero-gravity environments in other games. And of course the rest of the good old Borderlands gameplay.

Well, the story, it works. At least in my opinion it's not nearly as epic as the story of Borderlands 2 but it works nonetheless.


1. The DLC: Buying the Season Pass, I was really disappointed - in BL2 there were 4 campaign DLCs, in Pre-Sequel you also get 4 DLCs. Only that 2 of them are a new playable character each, one is the worst Arena mode I have ever seen and only the last one actually adds content.

2. The characters: Borderlands 2 lived from the ridiciulous characters, the dialouge with them and the even crazier quests you got from them. Most of the characters added in the Pre-Sequel are either super annoying or simply not funny.

3. The humor: (Again - my personal opinion) Sucks.

Let's just ignore all these (partially solved problems) like non-respawnable bosses, legendaries and the grinder,....

After only 18 hours of gameplay I was through the main story and so disappointed with the game, that I didn't touch it for months.

Don't buy it. Not if you're a Borderlands fan, or want something more than just good gameplay mechanics.

Ein absolut gelungenes Spiel, für jeden, der RPGs mag einen Blick Wert. Langzeitmotivation: top. Story: Top. Humor: Top.

Das Spiel bietet zwar durchaus Herausforderung für Leute, die gerne nachdenken, leider muss man enorm geduldig sein, um an gewissen Punkten weiterzukommen. Nachdem es keine Möglichkeit gibt, in-game Tipps zu erhalten, ist es dann sehr nervenaufreibend und langweilig die selben Passagen wieder und wieder zu durchsuchen, einen winzigen Fortschritt zu machen, der anscheinend aber überhauptnichts nutzt. Dazu kommt noch, dass es mir bei manchen Abschnitten von farbwechseln und im Kreis drehen leicht schlecht geworden ist. Auch sind viele Lösungen zu vielen der "Rätsel" nur durch stupides Ausprobieren und Zufall zu lösen.

Fazit: Tolle Idee, mangelhafte Umsetzung
Verbesserungsvorschläge:
- Unterteilen in mehrere kleinere Levels (Übersicht)
- Möglichkeit in-game Tipps abzurufen
