If you spend five minutes on Reddit or YouTube, you’d think Battlefield 6 is a disaster. But if you actually play the game, you’ll realize BF6 is a return to the high-intensity FPS game that actually made this series famous.

1. The maps are fine. Some larger maps would be nice but as every Battlefield in the past has shown, people prefer CQB to open vehicle based conquest. ie. BF3 most popular DLC was "Close Quarters" and is still played today whereas the least popular "Armored Kill" DLC which introduced large vehicle based maps, died almost immediately on launch.

2. The "COD-ification" argument is the dumbest of the bunch. People act like complex movement is a plague, but Battlefield has always been defined by weird, exotic mechanics that players exploited to win gunfights.
Prone roll in BF2, vault cancelling in BF3, "ZouZou" jumping in BF4 and ofc crouch slide cancels since BF1/V.

Every single "classic" Battlefield had janky, fast, and "broken" movement that the community embraced as "tech." BF6 hasn't "become COD" it has simply polished the movement so you don't have to exploit a vaulting glitch just to survive a corner peek.


It's a shame this games at just a mixed rating, its not perfect but definitely worth a try. 7/10

This "game" would of blown my mind as a tech demo in 2013.

It really doesn't even matter.

I can't even bothered to type out every single thing wrong with this game. I knew deep inside this game was destined to fail but just never actually quit because I put 200h into it. But this last patch (v1.1) has totally killed the game. The only endgame content there was has been squashed and made pointless and pretty much everything the community complained about being broken is still broken. Just check the steady decline of active players on steamcharts. Most the servers are dead, and the ones that aren't dead are plagued with bots. Just stay away from this game and pray it does a No Mans Sky type thing where Amazon takes their heads out of their own bottoms and realise they've ruined the game.

Amazing game mixing shooter and realism perfectly. Would recommend to everyone.

This game gets too undeserved much hate. It's a super fun game with an absolutely AMAZING community that will help learning the game. Mod suppoet is also great, there are entire mods that add new factions to the game.

RTS-wise it's alot like Starcraft (but more casual) if you like RTS games or space games or just like GOOD ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games. Buy it. Buy it now.

-Load escape mode.
-Priest comes for prayers.
-Shank the priest.

10/10 would shank a priest again.
