Early Access Review
Not bad mechanics, but the game is dead. There is 1 french server left, the rest is empty. Maybe in the future there will be potential, but for now, it's just an empty sandbox with minimal stuff to do and lacking builders (unless you know how to code or use third party resources). I'd wait for it to be on sale or buy it with cheap region prices. Either way, the most enjoyable part is the loading screen which is non existent and takes 5 minutes to load.

Good thing about this game:
- It's a meme
- EZ achievements
- Meme achievements (good for your profile lol)
- Cheap (I got it with 0.39 on discount)
- Good music
- All guns from start
- Decent story for a game like this
- Feels good to kill zombies

Bad:
- Price (Only buy it on discount as it isn't worth it's full price)

After countless hours put into this game since 2013, and about 6k hours in total (1k on Xbox 360 and Xbox One combined, 2.5k PC, 1.7k FiveM, and a few hundreds of hours in coding and other accounts), I got a lot to say about the different Game aspects of Gta 5.

Brief:
The game is pretty much open source and has countless possibilities (if you know what you're doing). You can pretty much play it based on your style of play. This is also a great platform to meet people online and make new contacts, as well as meet up irl (if you really enjoy being together)

SINGLEPLAYER:
You can sit back and enjoy the campaign, or do challenges and try to finish everything in the game. NGL, the story is pretty good and the game is filled with stuff you can do. Not to mention the awesome ambience it gives you (if you a Cali fan like me). Additionally, you can install mods and live your own adventures, with custom vehicles and models, cool shades, and missions! I for one spent at least 300 hours in LSPDFR with the huge amount of mods it offers. You can also begin to get mods from around the internet and do testing or even create your own stuff to upload. I spent like 100 hours making some maps and designing custom game modes to upload. Pretty fun.

GTA ONLINE:
I was mostly playing GTA:O during the timeframe of 2013 - 2016. I spent a lot of time there, mainly in the consoles, where that was the only thing we could have done. I remember modding the game with ISO files back in the Xbox 360 days and having a ton of fun with friends. Actually, 3 of my irl friends came just from GTA:O on Xbox 360 alone. But enough of that as it was the past. The reason why I haven't played much GTA:O lately is because of the paywall and grind-like system that is currently in place there. I get that Rockstar need to make money but it just took the fun out in my opinion. Still, it's a awesome place to play with friends and do custom missions or game modes, as well as meet new people.

Which brings me on to what I believe is truly the most remarkable part about the game.

CUSTOM FRAMEWORK CLIENTS:
Chances are if you played a lot of Gta 5, you heard of platforms like RageMP, FiveM, GT:MP, etc. For those who don't know however, these are custom frameworks for the game that allow users to create their own custom servers with custom scripts, that use the main core files of gta along with a programming language like lua, java, or c. Those platforms feature cool gamemodes, for example in FiveM, there is a DayZ gamemode, racing freeroam, etc etc. Not to mention the custom models, vehicles, scripts. The possibilities are endless. Besides that, you will see a lot of servers with the "Roleplay" tag, which as expected, allows you to create your own character and roleplay a specific thing. Weather it's a fireman, policeman, gangster, medic, etc. Once you get settled in a server, you will be apart of the community and meet new people, make new friends, experience gta 5 with a touch of the real world perspective. I think those who are used to play RP on San Andreas (OG RP platform), will know what I mean by "you can learn a lot of IRL lessons though rp, as well as meet new people". This is more than just "a game", it's a pretty cool experience and social platform, that is open to a lot of different play styles and offers the user endless possibilities.

That's why I honestly think the game is pretty great, and one of a kind. Not many games are able to achieve such standards, and that's all thanks to the Gta Devs, as well as the community. Because without the community, we would not have all those custom mods, frameworks, private servers and others. I will probably take a 1 or 2 year break from the game, as I feel like I spent too much time on it and need to explore some new games. Despite all the hours spent in there, I still believe there are many more aspects I haven't even explored. If you are curious to find out, then download the game ;)
