Art design and gameplay are solid, but holy moly the backtracking makes me want to stick nails in my eyes

An easy 10/10 and probably the best racing game I have ever played.

I've seen people call this the 'Dark Souls of racing', but in reality it's more like the Geometry Dash of racing. One minuscule slip up - entering a corner slightly too fast, clipping a rock, misjudging traction on a patch of snow - will send you hurtling into a ditch, wall, or down a mountain, leaving you with no option but to reset the stage if you want the best possible time.

But it always feels fair. The driving physics is incredible, as is the mapping and configuration of the VAST variety of stages around the world. Each car feels unique and, from what I've heard, true to their real life counterparts. Sure, it's punishing. This game doesn't hold your hand. But that only makes it more rewarding when you master it. It takes time to hone your skills, and it's an exhilarating challenge.

Graphics are fantastic, sound design is fantastic, gameplay and physics is best in class. Seems very well optimised too. My only very minor gripe is that the game requires you to be online, which let me down a few times during Steam's routine Tuesday outages. The career/storymode is pretty barebones too, though the Colin McRae DLC remedies this with a worthwhile expansion that follows his career.

I picked this up on sale for £5 with all DLCs included and it's honestly up for contention as one of my best value game purchases ever. Earning 100% achievements was difficult but a blast. This is THE rally game.

Enjoyed playing this with my gf. Character customisation is fun and the soundtrack absolutely slaps

One of the few games I've bothered to 100%. Movement and combat are super fluid, swinging around New York looks and feels amazing. Going for all collectables is actually fun and rewarding without the need for googling or YouTube tutorials. Wasn't keen on the MJ missions or circuit puzzles but most of them can be skipped.

Gameplay is decent but for storyline, graphics, and immersiveness it doesn't get any better than this.

Easily the best Harry Potter game. Graphics great, combat surprisingly great. Doesn't let you avada kadavra civilians but you can't win them all
