This game needs alot of standard settings for a game. Alot of graphic and sound functions aren't available like fov sliders etc. The control scheme is atrocious, you can't even press Esc on game menu to return to the game.
Basic menu and controls need to be added. The map is so small and has no indicator of where you are,
I would recommend that the 'solo' developer needs to learn the basics of game design and how to publish said game. The inexperience really shows in the game design, not including the mess with release dates. This goes for the publisher as well, in other attempts to sell a game. If proper testing was done, instead of 'let's add THIS feature', the game would be in a more stable state.
The multiplayer connectivity issues and unable to browse hosted serverList to join your friends is missing as well.
Oh wait, it's Early Access, yes but if they knew anything about game design and publishing it would be closer to other developers such as VEIN, which has two developers and it's night and day when you just compare the games.

Pretty kewl game, still getting used to it, kinda like Factorio
