Ok. So to start off, I wouldn't say I'm a connoisseur of platformers, but I did enjoy this game.

I'm not going to make a huge and long winded review of this game considering it has been around for quite a while now and everything to be said on it has probably already been said. But with that out of the way, here are my quick thoughts:

- I think the art direction and atmosphere is amazing. I love every bit of this aspect of the game. All of the areas are very unique and interesting and you find yourself genuinely excited as you explore new areas, unsure of what you will find.

- Combat is very good I would say. I consider myself averagely good at platformers like this and I felt as though boss fights were difficult but balanced. It would often take me several tries to defeat a new boss, but I didn't feel like any boss fights were "cheap" or too difficult.

- Story-wise, I was left a little confused. I won't spoil anything here for those who have still not played this game, but I found that I understood maybe 70% of it. The other 30% required a YouTube look up. Once I did a little research and understood the story better, I enjoyed the game even more.

I could go into more detail, but I think overall this game is very good and if you like platformers, it is one of the best!

I have been recently playing this game with some friends and we have had a fairly fun time playing it. I say fairly only because I do feel like this game falls into what a lot of other store sim games fall into, being that it starts to get boring as you unlock most of the toys/gadgets and upgrades. I don't want to hold that against this game much though, considering that while playing through the content provided thus far, we have been having a good time.

I think that the store sim side of this game is done well overall if that's your thing. Mechanics revolving around being hunted by the FBI agents and better ways to prevent the investigations felt a little unclear. I feel as though there are some areas that need polishing as far as how that side of the game works.

I haven't actually finished this game 100% yet at the time of writing this review, so I do not know if there is a true ending or not, but if there isn't, it might help for there to be one. I know that personally, having a definitive ending would make gaining upgrades and money over time feel more like I'm working toward something/an overall goal. That's just me though.

Of course, this game is in early access, so it could be that this review becomes outdated in a few months and some of these issues I have become obsolete.

Overall, I give it a cautious thumbs up.

I heard about this game online and instantly fell in love with the art direction, but as I started to play it one afternoon, I realized very quickly that there is so much more to it. This game only took me a few hours to complete with my wife and we loved every minute of it. There are so many funny moments and dialogue as well as an interesting and thought provoking story. I don't want to give too much away, but the more you play and get into this game, the more you start to realize that everything is not as it seems...

This game is a great game to hunker down and tackle over an afternoon on the couch. I really hope this developer makes more games in this vein in the future. I think they have done a great job here and I would love to see more!

I would like to also add that I played this game in its entirety on my Steam Deck. It played great!

Really loved this game. To be fair, I was instantly intrigued by the game design and visuals, so I was already predisposed to like it. I found the story and the bare-bones older RPG design and style to be very charming. I will say that because of this approach it can sometimes feel lacking compared to newer story driven RPG’s as far as general mechanics. I think that if you are someone who enjoys older RPG’s like maybe Morrowind and find this visual style attractive, you will very likely enjoy this game!

Being a long time Half Life fan, this game is awesome. Without spoilers, for someone who enjoys Half Life games and the story behind them, you won't want to miss this one if you have a VR headset available to you. Gameplay is great, combat is well done and satisfying, and it has that classic valve charm to it. It has been said many times before, but if you have a VR headset, this is an absolute must-play for Half Life and non Half Life fans alike.

Pleasantly surprised at how fun, engaging, and addicting this game is. Been playing a lot with friends (which is where this game truly shines) and we have all been having a blast. Definitely recommend!
