Normally I don't play base building/management games. This one piqued my interest because of the setting and art style. I used to volunteer at a WWII museum, and playing this brought back memories of the veterans I met.

I found the learning curve to be a bit steep, and would suggest a more guided tutorial in future versions. Once it got going, the pace made sense. Collect resources, use resources to build a better airfield, take on missions, repeat. Unfortunately, crew morale drops easily, and I found micromanaging them while trying to figure out the systems and make a functioning airfield difficult to balance.

The game appears to have a good start, and I can see myself putting more time into it once I have a better grasp of the mechanics. I hope the devs smooth the edges and make some the menus and systems more obvious. They've already patched it twice since entering early access, so it's clear they are continuously working on it.
