Like many I grew up with the original game, and absolutely loved it. While I wouldnt consider Rehydrated a replacement for the original Battle for Bikini Bottom it is absolutely worth playing. It makes for an amazing casual playthrough with the new polish. If speed running peeks your interest theres also a very robust community where you can find many friendly people and strategies to improve your runs. The unrestricted speedrun for this game is very accessible and I would strongly recommend it to anyone with an interest
