Twas many moons ago that I began this noble quest to download Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The first moon brought hope, the second, mild concern. By the fifth, I had accepted my fate as the eternal steward of a progress bar stuck at 97%.

Seasons have changed. The leaves fell, the snows came, and now spring threatens to bloom again. I suspect the game may finish downloading by the time the next harvest is gathered—or perhaps when my descendants inherit my PC.

Microsoft has truly outdone themselves with the realism. This isn’t a flight simulator; it’s a patience simulator. The skies will have to wait, as I remain grounded, my dreams of flight thwarted by 3%. - Alex
