Launch was rough, however, that's due to the sheer amount of players that overloaded the servers by trying to play immediately, which speaks to how passionate the players are. It's by far the most rewarding game in the world, however it is also by far the most punishing. I've played over 4K hours in 7 years and can tell you it has never and will never cater to a casual player. If you're willing to endure the steep learning curve and give it a real chance, I can't recommend it enough.
