I received this game as a gift.

I judge games by the feeling they leave when you finish it for the first time. I can confidently say that this game is one of the best I've ever played. The storyline is exquisite, the characters are well defined, the gunplay and progression is amazing! The graphics are great and can be run on high with little performance issues. Overall, I recommend this game.

There are a lot of bugs. I've gotten soft locked by getting stuck between two objects on a few occasions. The High LOD Draw distance is waaaay too low, if you get even a little far away from objects, they become a blurry, blocky mess. All roads more than a few hundred metres away look as if they are packed with traffic, only for the 2D cars to dissapear once you get near them. Sometimes when talking to NPC's, they will wait 5 or so seconds before responding. Traffic lights will also always turn green as you approach them, regardless of where they were in the cycle before then, cars will also stop in the road for no apparent reason, causing pileups. The biggest gameplay issue in my opinion is that cops will magically appear behind you if you get wanted and its incredibly easy to escape them by driving a few hundred metres down the road. And if you look away and look back at an NPC, it will look entirely different.

The biggest overall issue for me is that the whole main story gives an idea of urgency, so it doesn't make much sense for the main character to be doing all these side missions. With the ending I got, you get New Vegas'd and can't explore the world after you finish the main story.

Overall 9/10 and could be 10/10 if they fixed the following:
Draw distance issues
Magic Cops
Larger minimap when driving
Better traffic and car control

Didn't play it much. Good first impressions
