Helldivers 2 is the gold standard for a PvE live-service game: Non-predatory micro-transactions, permanent season passes where everything can be obtained through gameplay and satisfying progression.

Is it an amazing game? no
Is it a bad game? No
It's a good game, and that's OK, not every game has to be GOTY contender. So, yes, I recommend it. It's a 72 on Metrlacritic... And I think it's the proper score for it. Not amazing, but not bad. Also, as others already said, it has the best combat in the whole series.

IMO is too long, but, it's a good game. Not excellent, but good, and that's OK if you get it with a price discount.
Personally, The last 3 AC games would be ranked from best to worse:
- AC Odyssey
- AC Origins
- AC Valhalla
