I hated it.

I've been using virtual desktop with oculus's full body estimation for a while now, so buying standable, i was expecting a much better experience.
As soon as i launch the program, i ran into my first issue. The floor level does not set itself automatically at all.
Sure, it's quick and easy to do, but there is NO TUTORIAL or anything that explains you how to use the program outside of the website.
Digging into the settings with no wizard is a crime, especially when there's no description of what each thing does when hovering over with the mouse.
Now, i will say i have seen worse from software, but this is quite bad for first impressions.
lets go over the meat and potatoes, the estimation.

Bad. Shockingly bad.
When walking, your feet magically slide then gets glued to the ground in a snap.
Might as well not use this program. Because this is unacceptable.
It looks terrible from my point of view and others.
Sitting on a chair does work, but it's too stiff. It feels like i'm duct-taped to the chair instead of sitting on it.

Yes, you can fine tune the exact way your sitting. Cross legged, legs spread out, tucked under the chair, there's a lot you can do.
What this reminds me of is go pose. You also have all these different ways of sitting/laying down, difference is that it's free.

I can't fathom how bad the price of this software is whenever you look at alternatives.
I'd consider it if it was 1/5th the price, but right now? No. Stick to either free alternatives, or if you have an oculus/meta headset, the built-in estimation.
Sure this program works across ALL games, where others fail to do so. This does not justify why the algorithms struggle to detect if i'm even walking or not.
The fine tuning you can do is really cool, but i can't see most users actually adjusting this every single time they either sit or lay down.
I ain't a pupeteer, and neither are you, you cannot be spending 2 minutes every time you move a little bit inside the steamvr menu to adjust everything to your liking.

Here's the conclusion:
Suffers from Bad UI.
Estimation quality is bad, too sticky.
Terrible/10. Will be refunding.

Literally just a port, only thing that has changed from the android/ios version is HD textures/shadows and character voice acting.
I was expecting a little more than just a simple port for 30€.

Such a good continuation from the original, but sadly they still have the same den generation...
Wish that capcom would add waay more variation from 1 den to the other.
And that valve changes the deck verified to fully compatible since they removed denuvo anti cheat.

Really does look like a unity ♥♥♥♥ game, oh wait, that's what it is slapped on top of an editor that is just clucnky to use.
It's funny that you can't get this anymore, not the fact that i care.

Good god don't crank the brightness setting all the way up in vr and do a 8 line zone.

Now the idea, it's nice, but it's useless.
You've already got a passtrough mode built-into steamvr, wich makes this application useless.
Plus, the camera "lags behind", whereas steamvr does not, because it is warping the camera to conpensate for the latency.

This app is well worth the price tag, i've saved my foot from hitting a wall or a chair far too many times
