Sorry guys I had a lot of personal issues recently and wasn't able to update the group. I would like to disagree - with the previous comment - MOST of the games here are not 'horror' - "the occupation" in particular is a very well done thriller. Tacoma, The Forgotten City, countless others have NO horror whatsoever.

Quelques bons jeux, hélas pour la plupart, ce n'est que horreur, violence et histoires glauques. Décidément rien n'arrive à la cheville de Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, le seul qui mérite vraiment le détour.

@zaphodikus the group is alive and well - i just can't quickly review games that were 1-2h long before and are now 40+ hours with heavy replayability. Steam STILL won't let me link my review to some curation account. However, I think the current format is fine - ultimately the 'shovelware' isn't listed and neither are the 'not-really-walking-sim' sims. Quality is ALWAYS in the eye of the player so who am I to say what's 'great' and what's not? That's why we have a thread for individual top 3s in the forums section. Enjoy and keep on walking!

@Stigmamax thank you. I sold my vive so I can't review VR titles. I did review the Solus Project in VR which was really good at the time, but didn't age that well. I'm leaving it in the list because otherwise it would empty.

I wanted to add that Vanishing of Ethan Carter VR version is available on the Oculus page. I liked it except for a small bug for the texts that cannot be read at the bottom (Oculus Rift S). We just see the top of the letters. Not a big deal for me because I had already made the game normal version (FR)

@telu Thank you for all your suggestion. I keep track of where I am in the process in the 'announcement' section. I'm glad to say we now have a very solid selection of titles, but about 30 in the 'to review' pile. I also started sorting out the puzzlers/horror away from the main list and into an alternative one so it's fair and everyone's contribution is taken into account. The only titles making it to the main list are 'sure buys' so people get value for their $. :D

Missing a lot of great game : Event[0], The Station, Conarium, Journey, Observer, Lightmatter, POLLEN, Rime, The Stanley Parable, Tartarus, Tales of the neonsea, We went back.

It's all story rich games. Some are less "walking simulator" than others. But you should really try them.

my favorite game is Everybody's Gone to The Rapture. Mainly for the story, the graphics and the music. Can I introduce my Cutish game which is a kind of Myst-Like?

Looking for "THE" list? Click "overview" and look to your right. These are titles you can't go wrong with. Note that I'm working on proper curated lists (good, average, bad and not-a-walking-sim), but that requires re-reviewing each title as Steam list can only exist when 'curated'.

Sadly, it doesn't seem to notice I've already reviewed 99% of these titles. I'm doing my best to change that, but the interface is super clunky and I have little free time to fill form after form.

We'll get there eventually. I feel we're already making a difference by being able to go on forums for games like "The beginner's guide" and send 40+ titles to people seeking 'similar games'.
