Community server over the holidays.

Hi all, we've got a new community server for the next month and wanted to get some community games nights going.

At the moment the server's only got Insurgency installed on it (which I highly recommend you buy as it's on sale now) but are still looking for other games to chuck up.

So if you have any recommendations that would be great, also if you'd like to recommend a time for community games session we'll make it a date!

Christmas is a wonderful time of year for us gamers. First of all, the almighty lord Gaben blesses us with wonderful sales and money making gimmicks to summon the moneys forth from our wallets, but we also get to ask others for to buy us games we may have missed out on earlier in the year/ever. Oh and there might be some family stuff involved but yeah.

So take a moment out of your day and some Dolmios (official VoidSpark currency?) from your wallet and gift someone on your friends list something you think they'd like.

Merry Christmas from the VoidSpark staff and community, and may the new year be full of wonderful games/penta-kills/gold/loot/killstreaks/beans!

Community Overhaul

Hey guys.
Over the next few weeks we will be doing a complete overhaul of the entire community. Changes to come:
- A new website build from the ground up.
- A new forum with a custom template.
- Four new game servers:
- CS:GO, a classic competitive server tweaked to our liking.
- TTT, a classic TTT server, with some custom maps.
- DarkRP, A fully customized DarkRP server.
- Minecraft, maybe running mods, but yet to be decided.
With these servers comes an admin team refresh, but there is not much to announce about that at this time.

We thank you in advance for sticking with us through these exciting few weeks. Stay tuned for announcements and downtime notices.

Breathing new life into the 'ol gal.

As you know, over the past few months, community activity has been dropping. In an attempt to reverse this and hopefully gain some new members I'm calling on the VoidSpark community to discuss changes and advancements to be made to the group. As this is a community issue, the Administrators and moderators need everyone's input. Only through the discussion of the community members can we hope to bring new life to this community.

Another issue I'd like to address is forums usage which has been neglected for quite some time. It'd be great if we could get some discussions or even just spam (we have board for that).

Discussion is Steam is perfectly fine, however as previously mentioned, forum usage is something that needs to be addressed.

Hey guys,
We have server space to host 1, maybe 2 game servers. At the moment it seems one will be a Garry's Mod server but the other one can be anything you guys want. So comment here or on the similar facebook post what you would like to see!

The Hidden and No More Room In Hell

This afternoon we will be playing some Hidden and NMRIH. These are both free source mods and can be downloaded from their websites. I'd recommend getting Desura for source mods as it keeps them up to date!

I want to start putting up some community events starting with this weekend. I'm looking at No More Room In Hell because it's a free source mod. Obviously these kind of gameplays will be recorded which is another topic I wish to touch on at a later date.

So far the games I can see us getting together to play are:
No More Room In Hell
Arma 2/Operation Arrowhead
CS:S
and Team Fortress 2

Any other suggestions will be happily taken. Please let me know what you'd like to play and when (please include Time Zone if possible). Also, comments to verify anyone actually read this would be nice.
