I have noticed that, one of the teams we're up against hasn't even got a registered pyro.

Absotively none. I believe the ETF2L admin crew are working on getting the "more important" tournaments out of the way first so they will be able to devote a decent level of attention to the community highlander. They said there would be matchups by now, but it appears valve time is not a valve exclusive ability. The only thing theyre saying is that "itll be done when its done".

On a related note ive been playing a few comp games as a mercenary for CWH (a team primarily composed of UK players) and I have to say, this may be easier than you all think. Many teams seem quite disjointed and/or just plainly unskilled. They also want me to join their team full-time but it doesnt look like I can join theres as im already a part of the XBR. Herp.

But.. there isnt a match tonight. Matches are determined by challenges from teams in the same group. Basically if X team challenges Y, they both decide upon a time and server. If at the last minute either team is not complete the team must find subs or mercs to fill in (a maximum of 3, but only if the opposing team agree, otherwise 2). If a team cannot compete with a full roster, its a default against them. Besides, since this group encompasses 3 teams we should easily be able to pick up mercs if need be.

Also concentrate on your finals man, no need to mess that up for a silly vidya tourney.

looks like xbox republic is lacking a heavy now because i can't attend tonight's match since i have to wake up early tommorow for english finals OH GOD I'M SO SORRY

Nah, its just random crits that are off. The only certified crits that are not on are first blood, but since we arent playing arena, that shant affect us.

I just checked, and there seems to be no crits.

If I am correct, this means that the kritzrkieg, KGB, and frontier justice are useless along with other things. It's possible that this just means no random crits, but that's never the case.

Those arent all for the community highlander challenge, you realise. That includes all the ladder highlander teams too.

With that, I'm guessing we can AT LEAST win one or two matches. Hell, if we actually try it won't be hard to get into the top 100.

Well the signups close on the 26th, Divisions are announced by the 29th but the actual matches dont appear to take place until the 12th of September.

It starts the firsts of September, JORDN, though I'm kind of iffy being the backup.

Is this ♥♥♥♥ still going down? Because I'm in Italy for the next two weeks and if there's anything happening then I won't be able to make it.

Primary: Heavy, Secondary: Medic. Have mic. tbh, I can go either, I'm about the same with each. Don't prefer either over each other.

Well since theres 18 of us, we could sorta practice if we storm an empty highlander server. The problem is just having all of us on at the same time.

primary: heavy or soldier/ secondary: (bow) sniper or medic but if you need something else i dont care about changing
