Just an FYI, the steam beta client's updates have gone through, this'll cause a segregation of group chat users until everyone has updated and restarted to the latest version of steam.

I've yet to look for a "revert to older version" button.

Yes, if you go into your steam settings and under the account tab, there's an option to opt in for the beta client.

Just an FYI for those using the Steam Beta version, you can't join the group chat with others that are using the old version of Steam, you'll only see other Beta users.
