Bought Tom Clancy's The Division while on sale... tried to log in... ERROR DELTA C-1-198... WTF DOES THAT MEAN? Reminded me of PC LOAD LTR from office space. I mean, seriously. Contacted Ubisoft support, and they INSISTED that it was a problem on my end, and gave me some basic network troubleshooting tips, assuming that I would love to pay $35 in order to troubleshoot THEIR product, as is I was a paid employee... hahaha... These guys crack me up.

Heads up on Splinter Cell: Blacklist, game doesn't save or load while Uplay is set to offline mode, thus reeks of their obnoxious 24/7 DRM. Been like this for months, no fix from Ubisoft. No acknowledgement of this issue, unless Ubisoft considers loading and saving game an online feature.

I got bitten by Heroes of Might and Magic VI. I tried UPlay and hated it. Now I'm boycotting Rocksmith 2014 because of the terrible software.

Thank you Ubi, I was just about to spend precious money on Anno, but fortunately relised in time that I could only rent it. Phew. I almost fell for it. Now.... where is that torrent site everyone keeps talking about?

settlers 7, ac2, splinter cell.. so many great games i didnt purchase because of their DRM

I regret buying a splinter cell game, their horrible DRM ruined the experience and made me so angry I can't bring myself to play the game, will never buy from ubisoft on steam again

Ubisoft's DRM definetly SUCKS, that's why I didn't bought Settlers 7 / AC II ... Thanks Ubi ! Keep that up jerks !

As I have posted on their forums, if given the choice between this DRM and them leaving the PC market I choose the latter over the former.

I don't even buy the console versions of their games since this fiasco. They just want PC gaming to die and I'm not falling for it. Fix your damn games. If you GOT the sale on Steam you GOT your money. Do whatever to the disc version. Who cares? KEEP THE STEAM VERSION CLEAN.

Would love to buy some ubisoft games, but 2 things - I refuse to pay the extra cost they charge Australians ($20 ~ $30 USD extra just because we're aussie) and 2 - this DRM is insane. I refuse to pay for crippled DRM
