Discord is currently the leading preference when it comes to chat. This way we'd be able to use our phone mics if we do not own a mic.

DarK_Camper then introduced Filtering to the discussion. He also gave an idea:

Idea:
Interviews are a good way to filter while trying to avoid being blunt that we don't want them in the group. Since we can easily say "We are sorry, but you did not pass the interview." This makes active recruitment valid again.
Flaws with this idea is simply this, we are not a group with benefits. While a company has jobs to offer, and career consultations still has its benefits, we don't have such a thing. We have nothing to offer until the group is actually already very active and grown. Right now, we're like a child who has not yet learned how to even crawl, which is something we are trying to learn right now.

To put it simply, the flaw with the idea is that it would be tedious/troublesome to deal with an interview knowing that you wont gain anything after.

Coming up with ideas with this much restrictions for this topic is very difficult and thus, no one else was able to present another idea(this might change in the upcoming meeting). The default course of action we will take would be this idea as no other ideas exist as of when this post was created.

After all the chaos and random exchange of ideas in the Steam discussions, we moved the issue of a name which was shelved for the entire session of the discussion until now, to the FaceBook page(which was created some time in the middle of all this.) DarK Flame Master gave an idea:

Gaming and Anime to the Extreme

This idea was expanded by Kugari to GATEWAY, and reimagined by PinkPIE to Gateways, implying that we have our own paths to walk in our lives.
While the name is currently not yet finalized in the sense that we have not yet chosen if we would take the path of Symbolism or Acronyms. As of now, the Top Suggestion is GATEWAY, and would be the default name of the group if no new ideas are presented.

Purpose

When the question of what we will do if Doc Monica or Sir Martin learns of our group by Kugari, DarK_Camper answered we should just tell them of our purpose. Then another question was raised, “What is our purpose?” DarK_Camper created a discussion and post his own ideas on it. It was later improved and expanded later by himself.
This idea was finalized and is now the Goal/Purpose of the group.

To create a community where gamers can openly express their interests and opinions and participate in group-held events where we can improve relationships and sportsmanship through electronic gaming without sacrificing studies and academics.

To share our passion and love for gaming to others and teach what we know(general) to those who are willing to learn.

Not much to say about this. A discussion was started by Kugari, and eventually it was decided that the group will start out as a private group slowly expanding into a public group. The page was created by DarK_Camper after that has been decided.

• We will not give out fliers.
  
• We will try to have Teacher supervision.
  
• Recruitment Method still to be discussed.
  
• YouTube plan will only be executed when the group has grown and stabilized.
  
• We will explain to Doc Monica or Sir Martin if either of them ask about our group.

There will be a meeting on June 13, 2013 and a final meeting on June 14, 2013. The unresolved issues will be dealt with during these meetings, new ideas might be raised and changes might happen with the tentative issues/ideas.
