message to Keif88, yes i know there on google havnt seen for that price thats a bargain, however u still wont beable to play it online due to there not being the cavedog servers for this game anymore, thats why im doing all this, or trying to, its hard to get the time with 2 kids and other things going on at the moment, and also trying to drag myself away from other games aswell lol.. theres just not enough hours in the day.

There is a fix for Windows 8 already. Just check tauniverse.

Thanx for the comments and links. im working on a Windows 8 bug fix, for this game, and the mods. the mods are realy good its not like Total war mods were u can tell the graphics have been altered, its just extra units and some take nearly 2 hours too build, lol very exiting lol.. thanx guys for your comments on this group, this game is a realy great game, probly the best RTS of all time, no joke. but its not for the faint hearted gamer because its so intense u cant even smoke a cigarette or a blunt while u play. lol..

for anyone looking to download TA you can find it on gog.com for $3, full game and both expansion packs for anyone that doesnt have it and enjoys RTS its a must have

i think the download link is dead =/ any chance you could upload it somewhere else? i have the original disc from years ago but its pretty scratched, this copy might run a bit smoother.

Some of my files has degraded they are old, but im working on a fix, This game is realy good, and online its amazing playing against other players, its still 1 of the best games iv ever played, the pace is unreal, u realy cant take your eyes off screen its soo intense.

iv played that, i much prefer the classic + mods, I found TA Zero to be very long game with not the same kind of action as the originals. i didnt like it. but some of you may so yes give it a try while i sort this link, some files have degraded, an theres other probs, so i will sort it.

Hello Tashadan, thats what i put with the download, gameranger, is 6.7 the latest then? i havnt been on, i swore to not play until i found more players for game, as i wasted alot of time waiting for games. i checked my download and its had a few hits, like 170 i think. i tried TA universe and its realy laggy gameranger is best iv found so far, warzone is good but shame you can only play OTA Original total annihilation 3.1 on warzone, i prefer the mods, so in my book gameranger is best.

You should try gameranger. Also i recommend trying Escalation 6.7 and TA Zero.

hi man, sorry i had not been on for a while, yes i will have to update as it is alot out of date now i think the latest version is 6.7. i havnt played in a while as iv been trying to hit the top spot on shogun2 im in the top 20s out of over 400,000 players, so thats been eating my free time. let me know if u want me to sort game for you. i will dedicate more time to this group as i deleted all my others there 10mins ago, and even though i havnt played TA in a wee while, its a game i will always have a passion for. thats how it all started for me :) lol...

Perhaps you would like to try zero-k or balance annihilation, they are both RTS games that run on the spring engine, and both games are often considered the spiritual successor to TA.

yes, its good online game, there are players that have been playing this game and only this game for years and they are amazing at it.

i have enjoyed keeping the AI at bay with the vulcan cannon with massive ammounts of underwater nuclear power, until i am ready to wipe them out....
