Having difficulty creating terrain with your displacements?

Pull out the torus tool, ramp up the settings and intersect your brushes. Then hit 'carve'; for a truly elegant solution in creating terrain or other non-euclidean geometry.

Seriously I'm sure there are more out there who use this excellent tool to make everything.
