Could you please update the website to upload the preview images when creating a HUD onto somewhere other than imgur? It's blocked in the UK and I have no way of viewing them anymore which is really annoying when trying to update my HUD.

you can do just that, log in and you'll get a button for it

idk if you can but on the toonhud website you should be able to take premade themes and modify em to your own liking, use em as a template to your own etc

toonhud after the last update (but i suspect even earlier) started crashing my game for no reason and without any errors, i definitely determined this today after watching the same demo many times going over what mods crash my game and finding that if i remove toonhud from the custom folder then the game does not crash

To my knowledge removing the sniper scope overlay is bannable in some leagues [etf2l.org], so I don't think adding it to a HUD by default is a particularly good idea.

The overheal circle is stuck as a transparent white, I'd like to keep my text white, and change the circle to match my hud instead.

im getting something now when the health and ammo on my screen are where my crosshair is how do i make it go back down

where in the modification files are the sections responsible for displaying the nicknames of players? i would like to make it so that i can not see other people's nicknames (like streamer mode or smth)

I'm trying to get a crosshair for my toonhud and I do everything right, I save it then download it then type in console "crosshair 0" and it doesn't show it but only the hitmarker. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Valve updated the font scaling and the scaling of a few elements in the Halloween update

Hud is now officially broken, the UI scale for font is massive now pending on your monitor size, an i assume we aint ever seeing a fix roll out, was fun well it lasted all good things die :C

ToonHUD apparently has UI scaling issues due to the new Scream Fortress update. A few elements are misaligned and some windows are huge.

The website is very intuitive, I made my source scheme match as close to possible to classic Steam UI colors, the military like greens. Though, I had to use the software Gimp to identify the colors in rgb to get as precise as possible.

toonhud is still one of my favorite custom hud for tf2 today

This hud hadn't been updated since 2022, it still works so it's not a problem, just curious why it hadn't been updated recently.

Ran into an issue with the new TF2 update. My mic no longer works. I've isolated the issue to ToonHUD. In console, I get 'Unable to initialize sound capture. You won't be able to speak to other players.--- Missing Vgui material vgui/crosshairs/'. Is there a fix to this? I've validated my game files already.

Can you create a hud that removes Use, Delete and Restore buttons? So it becomes impossible to delete an item, delete killstreaks/names from an item and use an item.

There are a few possible reasons: Batching only works with the damage numbers shown above the target, not those in the HUD (shown over the health / ammo). If that still doesn't help, try increasing the batching window (the amount of time that the numbers are summed up, in seconds), for example with "hud_combattext_batching_window 2". Autoexec should work fine for both of those commands, and i've been using them for a long time so they work fine with the hud.

(hud_combattext_batching 1) for some reason this isn't working, is it related to the hud ? or can it be fixed using the hud ? I tried to put it in an autoexec file and I also tried to paste it directly to the console, but it still shows the last damage shown only and not a cumulative value
