Reading further into RTeddit there was a post by Eugen yesterday that says somehting about it releasing today but I think they are trying to keep it on the down low in case anything goes wrong.

DayZ Standalone Event :looter hunters You/your team with be given a loot item to find and retrieve for the loot keeper once you have the loot required you are to take it to the loot keeper , (first drop will be in NOVO) there will be 3 loot drop points once you have given the loot to the first loot keeper they will give you instructions for the next loot drop (new loot item to find and drop location )
first player/team to hand over the last loot drop wins!
1oot keepers will have yellow helmets on!


what do you win you may ask?? wining team / player with get lead on the next case event also will get to exactitude the last loot keeper how ever they choose to just for fun

Rules and Regulations
a. Players in yellow construction helmets are assisting, do not kill them.
b. Once the first loot drop has been handed in all others on the server will be notified 5mins after with 2nd drop zone are and loot item (same will go for the second drop)
c. you may choose to make a team with max of 3 per team or you may play solo
d. Each participating player must be logged into HIHB TS Server in the Event channel to register and remain during the event. The players Ingame name must match Teamspeak name.
e. Scoreboard will be stickied in the TOG DayZ Public forum.
f. May the best team / man or woman win.
g.if a winner has not been made before 9pm there will be a western style gunslinger shoot out to declare the winner

This is meant for fun and you will be shot at and most likely KILLED more then once don't get mad get even

Finally found me an AKM, now want one of thosee longbow pistols. Thanks for those guys who were looking for me too.

Spent 2 and half hours this morning when you aussies were asleep looking for a bloody AKM. & servers all the nw airfiel + kabino base, no bloody akm. Had to leave cpmputer before fist went through screen. Even found a bloody helicopter with more M4 parts than you can carry, but AKM? NO. I will seel body parts to the person who swaps me an Akm.

After near 200hrs of DayZ survivin and Diein, I have come to develop the mind state of not gettin attached to gear. I reckon an improved burlap sack pack, assult vest and decent clothing is all you need. Eat every bit of food you come across, drink every can you find. Pack is for ammo, hand cuffs, and med gear. Too many time have we spent hours hording only to die. Live hard and fast i reckon. If you have 60rounds, you are combat effective. Get in amongst it!! : )

Ive been away and now have the flu I might be out for a few days

Any plans for a sesh tonight?? I have a feeling Berezino will be the place to get some action. Plenty of Bandit activity in the past. Plus the NW Airstrip is close so we can try to roll folk who think they own the place.
Only thing to keep in mind there is: The bandits we kill in the town will no doubt spawn back there fast to get their gear or circle around and attack from the rear.

Just a quick reminder about tonight. Meeting in Kamarovo west of Balota

Guys just found out that with overwolf you can bring up a web browser while ingame,, so kiss goodbye ipads as you can access the iZurvive site while ingame!

I've put an RV point on the map for tonight if everyone is kitted up and keen. We could then either push down to Elektro for some "Shock (and Awe)" therapy or burn across to Berezino to hit up bandits rolling new spawns.
