As many of you have been aware, my internet connection of late has prohibited me from playing L4D2 due to the latency. I recently was informed by my campus that, as of this semester, the bandwidth has been increased and the internet improved, and, having tested L4D2 this afternoon, I am confirming that, as of right now, I am back in action. So feel free to send invites if it takes your fancy. Game on!

Hey all this is a list of campaigns I personally recommend you to try out.

*I've tested all of these campaigns*

Carried Off - Great city map, with a finale that forces you to run up to the rooftop of an office building with a never ending horde close on your heels..or in your face. Recommended to play on Normal or else you'll likely be swamped at the finale.

Dead Before Dawn 2 - HUGE campaign, all the levels are great, there are optional "sidequests" such as a defib without a battery and challenges like not letting in a certain amount of infected before you can close the gate. Recommend you play on Advanced Realism for much more intense and satisfying gameplay.

Diescraper Redux - Start off in an apartment complex and fight through the city to a helipad protruding from a skyscraper. Very intense, you can get pushed over the edge by the wind on the helipad and there are tons of extra rooms to explore. I recommend this be played on Normal Realism on your first go.

Haunted Forest - Not so much for the maps, they will hurt your eyes a little, but for the awesome effects that are put in (floating books, faces jumping out at you, changing paintings..) Put it on advanced and you'll get through fine.

I Hate Mountains - Great campaign with a fake finale where after fighting your way to the top of a mansion the rescue chopper crashes forcing you to fight through the sewers and underground caverns. Play it on Advanced.

Left 4 Mario - Great job on the Mario textures, very fun, challenging finale, hidden extras and replayable. Play it on Normal the first time so you can fully appreciate the maps.

One 4 Nine - Half Life 2 textures come in play at the weird finale and the campaign is very long but interesting. Be ready to move fast though because a small downside is hordes seem to come a lot more frequently in this one.. Play on Expert or Advanced.

Overkill - My favorite custom campaign. You start off seperated in teams of two in an apartment complex and go to the flooded underground parking to reach the saferoom. Follow an ambulance through the city and tunnels filled with noxious gas with a horde closing in. Then hold out at three different sites with the option to have someone stay in the center of the square and call airstrikes on the hordes and tanks. Run to the helicopter with multiple tanks closing in to reach the finale. Awesome run as fast as you can and don't get slowed down finale, because if you do slow down, you will die. Play it on Advanced Realism for the most fun and epic moments.

Try these out with friends and I guarantee you'll have a blast because they are all a breath of fresh air from playing the same Valve campaigns all the time.

Just a general note: There have been some complaints about language from group members, and though I don't have any names, nor do I feel that there have been any breaches in protocol, I would recommend that as members of a group that strives to prove good gamers don't need to be proficient in cussing, I would ask that everyone do their best to be conscious of what they say.
