The New Day Co-op Promotions and Leadership

The Ziin Games branch responsible for Dayz is called the New Day Co-op (NDCP). Welcome Swift and Zach as our newest members. As of now, and in order to maintain a structured chain of command, Swift is now promoted to the rank of Master Sergeant (MSG). Zach is ranked as Sergeant (SGT) who be overall responsible for the training and care of Private Recruits. Welcome to the New Day and always do what is best for the Co-op. Officers (continued)

Following CPT is the Major. The Major is one of the most experienced DayZ player and considered to be the subject matter expert for all things. The Major rank will be selected by the leadership and is not required if no individual meets the experience requirement. The Major is treated as the most most skilled player and primarily serves as chief mission advisor and head of training and the promotion program.

Brigadier General (BG): Second in command and Executive Officer (XO) to the Commander. The XO can make all decisions in the leader's absence and has authorization and permissions cm and and control all units at will. The BG serves as the dignitary/negotiator involving other factions and/or diplomatic situations.

Dayz Officers and Leader:

The officer corps has a limited number of 4 available slots which includes the head of group.

Captain (CPT) : The CPT is the primary officer for planning, executing, and leading missions assigned by his superiors. The CPT and 1SG work together as a team in order to plan, lead and ensure that all mission essential equipment and personnel are prepared to execute the operation. The CPT leads his troops from the front while the 1SG stays at a safe position of over watch and with additional ammunition and first aid resources available to provide support when needed.

Master Sergeant (MSG): The Master Sergeant is the second highest enlisted rank and acts as the First Sergeant when necessary. The MSG is mainly responsible for providing orders, guidelines, and care for two teams composed of 6 fighters. The Master Sergeant leads from the front and is committed to his team leaders (TL).

First Sergeant (1SG) : There is only one 1SG in this group and he/she is hand selected by the leadership to handle all affairs concerning enlisted business. The 1SG is the primary conduit and representative to the officers and has the authority to make all decisions concerning the group in the absence of officers.

Dayz Squad members ranking system will be composed of abbreviated standard enlisted and officer ranks listed below with duty descriptions :

PRIVATE(PVT): All new recruits being the rank of private. As a private your main duty and responsibility be to obey your supervisor's orders when we are all officially on mission. Examples of orders range from long range reconnaissance mission, clearing buildings and rooms, and resource collection missions.

Sergeant(SGT) :The Sergeant rank is the next step and also the toughest job. As a Sergeant you are also a team leader who is directly responsible for the training, protecting, health, welfare, and all positive and negative actions for two Privates. The Sergeant reports directly to the First Sergeant for all matters involving the status', team succeses and failures. Your primary duty is to take care of your Privates and aide them when necessary.
