i'd love to pick up borderlands and dragon age, but I am broke!

Okay, so I've been looking at Borderlands. It's been touted as a role playing shooter, a Fallout3 Diablo, and other like things. I'll probably end up buying it tomorrow, so here's a shout out on who wants to play with me :p

I've been looking for a game that all of us can play. Battlefield Heroes was cool, but it didn't seem to grab the attention for long. I did like Left4Dead, but it haven't seen anyone really play it recently (although that might change with the new contect coming soon). In any case, is there anything out there that anyone would like to play as a group? I was eyeing Section 8 for a bit. I still like the concept of it and I did play the demo on the 360. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

oh yeah speaking of GFWL if you are on there farting around checking out the demo's they have, dont get the game called "Battlestation Pacific" first off the game sucks, its obviously an xbox port (auto aiming? must be using an xbox controller to suck that bad) then when you try to end the demo it has this like 3 minute movie it MUST PLAY before letting you out, you can't even end task on it (well maybe you vista 64 bit ♥♥♥♥ can).

Well from the way Lekne described it, it sounds like a Quake wars clone. Basicly a mulit-shooter with 2 sides having objectives. but I'm also now reading a lot of complaints on the forums about how its not done :P multiplayers ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, Games for Windows Live/Steam mixure giving some people install issues, etc. looks like one we might play at a LAN, but I think i'm going to let the dust settle a bit.

Anyone seen anything about the game coming out Section 8? They say that it's supposed to be a mix of Battlefield and Halo. I'm curious of any other impressions that people have gotten.

II enjoyed our little outing with BH2. it's a really simple game to deal with. I just wished that it rotated the maps more often.. I'm looking forward to it again this weekend.

I haven't tried the Arma 2 Demo. It didn't look at that interesting to me. I'll look around and see if I find any intriguing demos.

did you like that Arma 2, I thought it blew chunks, even though it got good reviews.

I'm busy while my sister is here, so I would be able to do anything until after she leaves (July 13thish). I'm very willing to do some sort of game get together afterwards though.

battlefield 1943 comes out in september, unless you have a ps3 or a 360 and like crappy fps gaming experiences.
