I played this game years ago, truly one of my favorite games, even now and its still great, I hope they make a sequel!

Just got the game, reading up on the mod packs for Pirates and Renaissance by from McCoy + others. Do people play Pirates or Renaissance more?

Hmm, don't think I can play then. I only have the non-steam version of vanilla Guild 2 and thats at home. I never bought it with me when I moved as I didn't think I'd need it seeing as I own both PoTES and Renaissance on steam. :/

For the regular game, rather than the addon packs. Apparently the original is the most stable of the three...
