New Features

The Unreal Shader is now included in MARI indie.

A new Unreal Environment Map is now included in MARI indie.

The UV patch limit has been raised from 2 to 6 patches.

Feature Enhancements

BUG ID 48726 - The ability to set a keyboard shortcut to toggle projection (Project On) between All and Selected Only has been added.

BUG ID 48728 - The ability to set a keyboard shortcut to toggle Source Grade as enabled or disabled has been added.

BUG ID 48763 - Images within the Image Manager palette can now be managed and organized under custom tabs to avoid the palette becoming crowded and difficult to manage.

Bug Fixes

BUG ID 44931 - The vertical axis on the color blender was inverted.

BUG ID 45559 - When using shared groups, Mari did not make it clear, on selection of a group, which other groups were shared, and therefore also selected. Additionally, shared layers and paint targets were also not clearly indicated.

BUG ID 48533 - The LGPL copyright notice was missing from the About dialog within Mari.

BUG ID 48737 - Individual adjustments using the Warp tool were not logged in the undo stack, meaning all adjustments were undone at once.

BUG ID 48765 - Individual adjustments using the Slerp tool were not logged in the undo stack, meaning all adjustments were undone at once.

BUG ID 48784 - The Warp tool did not store creation or clearing of the grid as separate events in the undo stack.

BUG ID 43949 - Changed Levels Filter code structure to bypass usage of LUT and allow for a per-pixel operation on the texture.

BUG ID 46183 - Fixed clamp setting of Adjustment Layer Levels to be Disabled by default.

Feature Enhancements:

The UI has been improved to make text on the splash screen and application title bar clearer to read.

Bug Fixes:

BUG ID 43773 - Opening a new HSV palette by clicking on the Spawn floating tab > HSV option in the Colors palette, when an HSV palette had already been opened and closed once before, caused Mari to crash.

BUG ID 43957 - Sphere Map Projector: The entry box values for rotation parameters were out of sync with the corresponding slider position, which resulted in values resetting to the incorrect value when attempting to adjust them with the middle-mouse button+drag shortcut.

BUG ID 44513 - New values set using Layer.setProceduralParameter could incorrectly be set as an unexpected type, which potentially caused layer operations to crash.

BUG ID 44819 - The Unlock Entire Object behavior did not unlock any object, patch, or face, when switching selection modes.

BUG ID 44956 - Opening a new Blend palette by clicking on the Spawn floating tab > Blend option in the Colors palette, when a Blend palette had already been opened and closed once before, caused Mari to crash.

BUG ID 45214 - Smart selection didn't work well with complex meshes, causing Mari to crash on some projects.

BUG ID 45273 - Mari crashed when attempting to load .fbx geometry that used a custom time stamp.

BUG ID 46589 - Brush shortcuts, such as those to adjust radius, opacity, and rotation, were removed by Mari when a project was closed and re-opened.

Known Issues:

Some PDF viewers cannot be run from within a Steam session due to permission errors. Ubuntu users are recommended to install 'okular' PDF reader when using MARI indie.

Alembic read and write is not currently available to Ubuntu users of Steam
