Hi all! I'm looking for En Guarde! and Bataille Empire rulebooks in PDF. Can you help?
TevoTFM 27 May, 2020 @ 2:43pm
I updated the AK-47 Republic to TTS and am willing to help port other systems if you need assistence.
Emperor Highlander 24 Nov, 2019 @ 12:33pm

Emperor Highlander 24 Nov, 2019 @ 12:01pm
Hi all has anyone got Black Powder clash of eagles on pdf?

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1163910/Brass_Brigade/

Looks like this might be a fun, lite WWII title
Frood 18 Jul, 2017 @ 10:36pm
Why is this still linked in the general
[WS] Wudstove 10 Nov, 2016 @ 11:11am
If anyone is interested in shooty bang games SQUAD is having a free weekend and 50% off sale.
Steelwhip2001 15 Apr, 2016 @ 4:29pm
Twilight Struggle is out. Let me know if anyone wants a game!
Steelwhip2001 11 Nov, 2015 @ 2:03pm
Hey all....thinking of putting up a open challenge to everyone here for a PBEM++ game of Flashpoint Campaigns Red Storm. Who would be interested?
Dr. Funkenstein 29 Oct, 2015 @ 8:11am
Been having some fun with Red Orchestra 2, a mate picked it up in the last sale so there's a couple of us with it now. Good fun, but terrible community IME, chock full of edgy 4chan kiddies, and I say that as one myself.
Dr. Funkenstein 23 Oct, 2015 @ 8:14pm
Hey lads, tried out Wargame lately, pretty good fun, got Red Dragon in the last sale.

Also keen to give Gateway to Caen a crack.
Duzt 3 Oct, 2015 @ 7:53am
Does anyone know why the mediafire links no longer work?
Dr. Funkenstein 26 Aug, 2015 @ 4:39am
Grabbed it lads, just need to smashout some assigments, but next week is mid sem break so I'll be able to make some games.
Dr. Funkenstein 24 Aug, 2015 @ 2:40am
Actually, half price for the next 36 hours, I'll find some cash for it.
Dr. Funkenstein 24 Aug, 2015 @ 2:22am
Cool, I'll look into it. Bit short of cash ATM but I'm keen at some point.
Steelwhip2001 23 Aug, 2015 @ 6:57pm
Yeah I would be down for some Gateway to Caen.....touch bases with me and we can try to figure something out
spurious956 21 Aug, 2015 @ 2:25pm
Anyone for trying Close Combat: Gateway to Caen?
xccam 13 Aug, 2015 @ 12:26pm
Pike and shot lads.

Anyone else got the new expansion?
Dr. Funkenstein 3 Aug, 2015 @ 3:52am
CivV on sale lads
xccam 28 Jul, 2015 @ 9:10am
As if we would ever decide on a game to play.
Dr. Funkenstein 22 Jul, 2015 @ 2:11am
Guys, when are we going to play something?
Steelwhip2001 13 Jul, 2015 @ 4:09pm
its kinda annoying as I enjoy doing massive operational games on the table top. Was involved in a massive campaign of Europas Fire in the East for several months. There I had all the rules and knew what was going on with 'behind the scenes' work. havnt been able to get that same enjoyment from a computer Grand Operational game.
Dr. Funkenstein 11 Jul, 2015 @ 4:54am
Well ♥♥♥♥, if you get overwhelmed then a casual like me would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Steelwhip2001 9 Jul, 2015 @ 1:53pm
Depends on what you define as good. its a MASSIVE MASSIVE Operation level game of the pacific. And if your into those its a great game. However I get overwhealmed to quick trying to play games of that scale. Alot of times documentation isnt that good and I never can fugure out the hows and why of things working. I alos avoid pretty much everything Grixby has done.
Dr. Funkenstein 6 Jul, 2015 @ 7:46am
War in the Pacific by Matrix Games any good?
Dr. Funkenstein 3 Jul, 2015 @ 10:25pm
One of my mates has been playing a lot of World of Warships, looks pretty fun. Not really a fan of World of Tanks, big grind philopsophy and ludicrous pricing takes the shine off of what might have otherwise been a reasonably fun arcade style armoured combat game.
Marqod 3 Jul, 2015 @ 9:42am
It's rather arcade, but World of Warships actually provides a pretty fast and entertaining experience using interwar and WW2 warships.

In my opinion, it's a nice game for a few quick matches of something with a bit of historical flavour.
spurious956 2 Jul, 2015 @ 3:01pm
Seconding that, last close combat game I played was the remake of 3, Cross of Iron.
Dr. Funkenstein 2 Jul, 2015 @ 7:08am
Hey, on Close Combat, what are the recent ones like?
deniedoperative 2 Jul, 2015 @ 6:11am
Hello all. I'm not a regular contributor to the threads, but I have an insatiable passion for history and military paraphernalia. Hit me up at any time for a discussion related to such things.
Kuiper 1 Jul, 2015 @ 1:34pm
i play COH2 a lot and Close Combat series :0
Steelwhip2001 30 Jun, 2015 @ 9:42am
Done and Done Spurious.
And good to see you over here Marqod!
spurious956 29 Jun, 2015 @ 12:52pm
Suggestion: Add Ultimate Generasl: Gettysburg to the recommended games.
Reason: I really recommend it, give it''s quite akin to a tabletop wargame but in real time and stuff. Yeah. Damn good game too.
Marqod 29 Jun, 2015 @ 11:02am
Sounds like in interesting plan.
Steelwhip2001 29 Jun, 2015 @ 10:25am
not a bad idea..wouldnt mind seeing us trying to get some games in...Civ comes to mind..its a good multi player game
[BRE] Elyes 29 Jun, 2015 @ 10:21am
http://strawpoll.me/4776359/r
Made a strawpol because I want to know who is in what timezone so we can organise stuff better.
Dr. Funkenstein 27 Jun, 2015 @ 11:50pm
Cheers, been a bit slack with the ancients campaign but have been playing by distance at the moment.
Steelwhip2001 27 Jun, 2015 @ 3:23pm
duuuuuude...the Prussian campaign was great as well as your recap of the Ancients campaign!
Dr. Funkenstein 27 Jun, 2015 @ 8:36am
I'm the Hobart poster with the Prussia campaign last year and getting BTFO in a fairly beer and pretzels ancients campaign in case anybody was wondering.
Steelwhip2001 26 Jun, 2015 @ 12:28pm
there are parts of III that I like....and there are parts of IV I like...wish i could take what I liked from both and mash them together into one game
xccam 26 Jun, 2015 @ 7:01am
I prefer EU3 to be honest. Im not as keen on the tech tree idea of eu4. They are both good though.
Steelwhip2001 26 Jun, 2015 @ 6:47am
I just was tossing some games up Mental. Ill get EU IV up eventually as well...not sure what the setting is but others may be free to recomend games as well. Glad to see eveyone here!
Bottlecap 26 Jun, 2015 @ 5:55am
Scratch that, maybe I just don't understand how steam recommendations work
Bottlecap 26 Jun, 2015 @ 5:49am
Aspiring DBA/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here, also moonlight as The Samurai Guy. Just curious, why'd we choose to recommend EU3 over EU4?
zirrian 26 Jun, 2015 @ 5:31am
Hey
Marqod 26 Jun, 2015 @ 3:47am
