c_gen the tf2c mod you downloaded must have been someone elses. That one has been broken since like 2008 or 2009. I never released my tfc2 mod to the public ever.

Sounds like this mod is in disrepair. Would be cool to see its issues fixed so it can be played again. It would be cool to see some of these features in TF2 Classic.

I am getting a ton of errors and missing textures. Plus it crashes constantly, I have been able to hold the game open for a total of 2 minutes.

Some tips:

It is okay to bring back everything from TFC (including Det Packs and that Gas Map, among other things), but please play the TF2 Developer Commentary. Once you learn why they made the changes, you can figure out how to fix Valve's mistakes.
