The scout is more valuable on offense than I previously thought. Why the scout love? The sandman. Two of the three best defense classes better be on scout patrol now.

Vs a Heavy:
While a heavy is revving his gun hitting him with the ball is almost a surefire hit guarenteeing you between 1-8 seconds of stun, enough for you and a fellow DH soldier to take him down. Additionally that 1-8 seconds is more than enough time for the scout to clear out of the intel room.

Vs a Demo:
DMing a demoman is easy as scout, but if a demoman has his back turned to you and the intel stickied, hitting him with a bonk will allow you to have protection from his sticky detonation while the demoman is stunned.

I foresee a more diverse defensive line up in the future. . . I went nuts on the heavy today in the 2v2

I'd also like to make mention that I'm looking for another administrator to help coordinate more games, please let me know if your interested

He's a video I'd like to share with you all showcasing my favorite offensive demoman from team fortress classic: Oracle. This shows an OvD pick up game from TFC where the game mode was adopted from. Speed and accuracy wins the game on offense, take a look!

Indefinite Hiatus

I'm moving on to do other things, now. I'll make sure to log onto Steam now and then.

Kibbles is in charge of the group, so contact him about any administrative functions.

I'll keep the custom maps hosted on my webserver, so the comment below is still valid.

For offense on OvD I recommend running an offense with the following classes:

Soldier, Medic, Demoman, Scout

Soldier(Regular) + Soldier(Gunboats) + Medic(Kritz) is my favorite set up
