Alright folks. After much thought and deliberation, we've decided the community meeting will be Saturday, May 7th at 6:00 PM US Central Time. These meetings will now be bi-weekly and will replace the current staff meetings. That means the next community meeting will be on May 21st at 6:00 PM US Central Time.

Oh, hello. Didn't see you there. *closes book and sips tea* You're probably wondering why I am here, and, if you can't tell from the title, I'm here to announce that we'll be doing a Community Meeting. *confetti*

Now, you're probably thinking, "But guys, when's the last time you've had a community meeting? 1975?" and, no, it was about a year ago silly, but yes, it has been certainly a long time since we last got together as a community. "Why?" You ask. And really, the reason: they don't usually go very well. They're either just all staff or just no one at all. However, I want to see the community get together and ask some questions. Questions that you may not know who to ask or where. Well, ask them at the meeting!

This meeting, however, is going to be a little different from the last meetings, in terms of structure. First: there will be talk power. Yes, I know, it seems counter productive, but think of it like this: we want to promote fair treatment to the community, and we would have a hard time with that if users don't allow each other to speak. If this meeting goes well enough, that'll probably change. Second: Senior Staff will be doing any announcements there first. This is so if any Senior Staff have something important to tell the community before anyone leaves. Finally: I'll most likely be hosting it. Since I'm PR Admin, it's only fair that I should get to know the community as well as possible.
