A Tacticians Rendezvous is in planning for the later half of October. It will take place on an affiliated public server that we're sure even new source skeptics would like (800 start, standard teambalance [no force balance, so we can play as a team if we wait] and all weapons + there's map rotation [you'll love it]).

Also, Tactical Intervention is truly making out to be Counter-Strike: Source's successor. In terms of gameplay atleast (we'll see what happens with balance).We urge you to atleast give it a try. It's still beta but its worth playing as an option to source (not competitively of course... not yet.. maybe).

We also urge you to use these crappy steam features for what they're worth. Some of us have found each other playing certain games that each owned to a surprise because not all of them are steam. Add your non steam games and open up the TPC friends drop down list thingy and don't be shy to join a fellow tactician, afterall we make the best teammates.

Counter-Strike: Source seems promised to make a recovery (even though it didn't die) but it will need our assistance (no I don't work for Valve).

If you got the latest Counter-Strike: Source Beta hop on and give them the tips and ideas they need to restore the core gameplay. They've proven they haven't given up on us so lets not let this go to waste.

Broken promises right? Don't worry. We're coming back to Counter-Strike: Source.
