Is a Utopian society possible?

The human race has always striven for a perfect society of perfect order, safety, and peace. The search for the answer to this has been a long and difficult road. From this search the goverment systems of direct and representative democracy's, absolute monarchys and dictatorships, anarchy, communism, and many more have been created as a utopia or stepping-stool to a utopia.

But can it be done? If so, then how, or how soon? If not, then how close can we get?PLEASE ANSWER AS MANY OF THESE QUESTIONS AS POSSIBLE.thank you

The Question of Equality

This will be a place to debate whether people are equal or not. I will present my arguement here as well.

"All men are created equal."

Are they? Can you really say that? What about the deformed? The disabled? The generally 'unlucky?' Are they equal too? Can a man with no legs run like you can? Can a man with no arms throw a frisbee like you? Can a man who has part of his brain gone think as deep as you think? No. Quite simply, they are not your equals. They cannot do the things you do, and therefore they are not your equals. It doesn't even have to be somebody with problems. Do you consider Socrates or Aristotle or Plato to be your equals? What about the monarch or president? Do you have as much power as he does? Or the ones who are intelligent to an unnatural level, are you equal to them? No. And quite possibly you never will be.

However, we must assume that the term was meant for political usage, and if it was then how come it has not been implimented? If you live in the United States you don't get to vote on if a bill gets passed or not, Congress does it for you. You only marginally have a say in what goes on in the ballet box, and the majority of the time, its not going to make the slightest difference. So in the long run, do you have any equality in politics? No.

Does this mean that we shouldn't treat people equally? Of course not! Just because you think you're smarter than your next door neighbor doesn't mean that you have to berate him every time he comes out the front door! Hitler did this! And look how that turned out!

The Nazis didn't look at other races as 'men' either. They did not consider cripples or Jews or Homosexuals or Gippys to be human, so they made their own definition of "All men are created equal."

All in all, my argument is this: People are not created equal, but that does not mean that they don't deserve to be treated equally.

The Power of Mass Manipulation (MM) Major Cornerstones

Mass Manipulation is the unique art of controlling massive amounts of people in a particular nation or group. This was practiced notably on a grand scale by figures seen as infamous despots such as Hitler. But, when left unpracticed it is an innocent art, but a powerful, and often misused one.

First is the most important and most basic cornerstone of mass manipulation: the transformation from individuals into crowds. This is extremely important in mass manipulation. It is the process of grouping individuals together, and them causing them to go into a massive, irrational emotional frenzy, directed in your will. This, of course requires some rhetoric skills, but is easily done. Once in a crowd that is full of emotion, an individual, instead of remaining logical and seperated, meld into the crowd, joining its intense emotion, and losing individual thought. The crowd does not think, and can be manipilated easily by emotional speeches. This can be proven effective thousands of times. Look at Hitler. That was his favorite technique. And everytime a despotic ruler throws a national festival, speech, or pride march, they are merging them into a crowd. A speech, igniting their emotional states, followed by a march, where they remain in their easily molded state, with activity, the killer of individual thought, with the uniformity suppressing seperation, and the propaganda reinforcing the ideas into the individuals mind, all create the perfect enviorment for mass brainwashing. This was also done in the perfectly brainwashed nazi germany, for example. This can also be widened by modern technology, using the television to "inspire" multiple crowds at once, as needed in larger, more populated countries. The greatest portrait of this is in George Orwells '1984', one of 3 books i suggest reading on mass manipulation.

Another basic testamet of MM is that children are the most easily molded minds, and are perfect for brainwashing. It is also remarkably easy. All one must do is take advantage of the pre-existing education system, the schools, and add your propaganda into the schools list of dispensed knowledge. Reinforce this by taking advantage of advertising, propaganda, and by pushing your ideas into every corner of their lives, and their minds are your clay to mold into the perfect brainwashed citizens and soilders. They are not only perfect for creating a pre-brainwashed generation, but also are great for disrupting the family ties that often resist the goverment. These ties between parents and children can become dangerous and irritating as time goes on, so if a ruler manages to use his brainwashed children to break these bonds, then the family loyalties, which often contest the goverment's will, and have been known to resist even until death, which can lead to matyrs and rumors. These and romantic loyalties are the very opponent to the goverment which has lead to the most disasters. To see a perfect disassembly of these bonds without public disorder or dissent, then see the example of the second book I recommend: "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley. Another example is shown in 1984, using the opposite, Stalinistic tactics and more primitive technology. This is also an acceptable way, although I personally prefer Huxley's path.

A final pillar of control is the mastery of the press. The Press is how people gain their information. Without other sources, they have no reason to disbeleive what they are told. This is done by rulers uncounted. In fact, this is probably the most well-known and popular tactics in MM throughout history, as well as the easiest.

And also my last, and most well-known suggested book is "The Giver"

More Is Coming Soon! Farewell!
