@Moviebuff83 you don't need to be friends with one of the mods to message them just comment on one of their public items like screenshots or something asking them for help as mentioned in my previous post on 16 Dec @ 11:23am. That's what I did and it worked but make sure to have your steam favourite badge set to Years of Service to make it quick for them to verity your years.

It has been almost 3 months since I requested to join the 8+ Years of Service group. My badge for Years of Service has been on display for the entire time. I'm bringing this up again right now because Winter Sale 2023 is happening, so I'm hoping that some of the Administrators and Moderators in both this group and the next group are being a little more active on Steam at the moment and they might notice the long wait that I've been having.

I hope that everyone's holidays were enjoyable and I wish everyone a happy new year! Thank you.

To those of you wanting to get in the next group I suggest you look at who some of the active mods are in that group 8+ Years of Service and reach out to them with a comment on something of their e.g. artwork or screenshot if you cannot post your request to their profile. That's what I did and got some help to get n here. Best of luck!

a lot of the admins are in their 30s 40s probably now, having kids & needing to go to their jobs so a lot cant spend much time on steam
